Director, KIAMS – Harihar.Dr. Biplab Kumar Biswal has been a dynamic manager with widespread experience of about 22 years in Corporate and Academics spearheading research projects, business operations. He has handled numerous senior level positions and attained proficiency in directing complex projects from concept to fully operational status. He has successfully launched the PLANETWORKZ program of NIIT across major towns of Orissa. He also has handled the Training & Placement for ICFAI for 5 years; academics and placement for 2 years at Krupajal, academics and placement for 4 years at BIITM, trained Faculty for ITES training program at NIIT, designed session plan for Soft Skills, implemented new projects like Odisha Land rights to Slum Dwellers Act 2017 with HUDA, Govt. of Odisha. He has been actively involved in network expansion, recruitment, content development and program designing of Soft Skills Curriculum at ICFAI. He has been instrumental in formulating, writing, and implementing new employee orientation manuals. He has facilitated and developed over 200 employees into goal-oriented and cohesive groups. BIITM has achieved 95% of on-roll placement and full capacity admission for all the 4 years of his tenure. He has been instrumental in empaneling the college with more than 50 corporate houses and full capacity admission, which is unique for any college in Odisha. He was able to drive PCNL East, which was a loss making unit to break even in a year and profit within 18 months.
Dr. Biswal is a Ph.D. in Marketing Management from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar after completing MCom (Accounts) from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar in 1997, PGDIRPM from Samabalpur University, Sambalpur in 2003, LLB from Sambalpur University, Sambalpur in 2000, GNIIT from NIIT, New Delhi in 2001, BCom (Hons) from, G.M.College, Sambalpur in 1995.
He is a member of Red Cross and Life Member of Indian Economic Association.

Dr. V. S. Pai
Senior Professor - Strategic Management, KIAMS-Harihar.Dr. Pai has over 28 years of work experience. He has conducted research in the field of Strategic Management (guided 3 PhD scholars successfully, completed an ICSSR, New Delhi funded research project and published several research papers). His publications, which number over 80, have appeared in refereed journals both in India and abroad, business magazines and national business newspapers. His business cases have been uploaded to The Case Centre (ECCH), Cranfield University, UK and have won prizes in international case competitions held in Canada.
His experience in Management teaching is in the areas of Business Strategy, Corporate Strategy, International Business, Organization Structure and Design &Management Control Systems. He has taught at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programmes.
Dr. Pai has also been actively involved in designing, developing and delivering executive education programmes for many organizations. He has also undertaken consulting assignments. Dr. Pai has also held academic administrative positions and has managed events.

His research areas lie in corporate governance and competitiveness, and international business. He won the Best Case Award in the Case Chase competition conducted at ‘Indian School of Business’ (ISB), Hyderabad for a case study titled 'Scope e-Knowledge Centre' in April 2005. He has published several research papers in many reputed publications.

Dr. Mathew Manimala
Director, XIME BangaloreMathew J Manimala is the Director of XIME Bangalore. Prior to joining XIME in July 2015, he has served as a professor of Organisation Behaviour (2001-2015) and Chairperson-OBHRM Area at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB), and as a senior member of the faculty and Chairman-HR Area at the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad (1988-2001). At IIMB he has closely worked with the NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) primarily to build the research competencies of the centre during its early years when he served as the Jamuna Raghavan Chair Professor of Entrepreneurship for two terms and as the Chairperson of NSRCEL for one term. He is a Senior Enterprise Fellow of the School of Entrepreneurship and Business (SEB), University of Essex, UK, and a member of the International Advisory Board of the Institute of Management Innovation at Kinki University, Osaka, Japan. Currently, he is involved in setting up the International Consortium for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research (ICIER) in collaboration with European and BRIC countries institutions.
Professor Manimala obtained an MBA degree from the University of Cochin, an MBSc degree from the University of Manchester and the Fellow in Management (Doctoral) degree from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA). He has received several academic honours including a Certificate of Distinction for Outstanding Research in the Field of New Enterprise Development (Heizer Award) from the Academy of Management. He has been awarded research fellowships by prestigious international agencies such as the European Foundation for Management Development (for a research fellowship at Manchester Business School, Manchester, UK: 1990-91) and the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute (for a research fellowship at the University of Calgary, Canada: 1998-99). In July 2011 he was honoured by CMO-Asia with the 'Best Professor of Human Resource Management' Award at the 2nd Asia's Best B-School Award function held at Singapore, and in February 2013 a similar award was conferred on him by ET NOW in association with B-School Affaire and the Word Education Congress. He is also a recipient of the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' of the National Federation for Entrepreneurship Development (NFED).
The teaching, training and consultancy interests of Professor Manimala cover a wide range of topics in Organisation.
Professor Manimala has done extensive research in the area of Behaviour and Entrepreneurship. He has published more than 50 research papers and articles in refereed international journals and presented papers mostly in international conferences. Among the research projects carried out by him is the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) project, a multi-country research project involving more than 30 countries, of which he was the leader of the India team for two years.
Also, he is a member of the Editorial Board of several journals, and is the Editor of South Asian Journal of Management, published by the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA).

Vice President - FWA, CEO, Karunya Group of InstitutionsProf. M J Xavier obtained his Doctorate in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in the year 1984. His basic training is in engineering with a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from CIT, Coimbatore and M.Tech. in Chemical Plant Engineering from REC, Warangal. He has been a teacher, trainer and consultant for over 30 years. He has authored three books and published more than 100 articles in journals and magazines in India and abroad.
His book 'Marketing in the New Millennium' won the DMA-Escorts Award for the Best Management Book of the Year 1999. He has taught in premier institutions like IIM Bangalore, XLRI Jamshedpur, IFMR Chennai, Great Lakes Institute of Management Chennai and IIM Ranchi. He has held administrative positions like Dean, Director, Principal and Vice Chancellor for over 14 years in different institutions.
He has served as a Visiting Faculty to a number of business schools in India and abroad including the University of Buckingham, U.K., Post Graduate Institute of Management, Sri Lanka, American University of Armenia in Armenia, the Texas Christian University, U.S.A., California Polytechnic State University, U.S.A. and SP Jain Institute of Management, Singapore and Dubai. Until recently he was the Officiating Vice Chancellor of Karunya University. Currently, he is the Chief Executive Officer of the Karunya Group of Institutions. His research interests include technology in education, strategic planning, experiential learning methods and spirituality. He is a recipient of more than 10 awards for academic excellence & leadership.

With an overall experience of over 15 years, she was the Chief Economist at Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture, Pune and has been in the field of project consultancy and is the principal author of several state-level reports. His research interests cover areas of strategy for CEOs and their direct reports, including digital business, customer experience, expectations of the CIO and IT organisation, and globalisation issues. Mr. Iyengar is a frequent and much sought-after speaker and presenter at numerous Gartner and external forums, as well as various government organisations in India, China and other countries. He is extensively quoted in the local, national and international press, and was interviewed on the U.S. CBS News show '60 Minutes'. Furthermore, he was a panellist on a CNN International panel discussion on the future of IT, and also participated in the BBC panel discussion on IT in emerging markets. He is the co-author of a book published by Harvard Business School Press on India and China strategies, titled 'IT and the East: How China and India Are Altering the Future of Technology and Innovation.' Mr. Iyengar served for three years as a non-executive director on the board of directors of State Bank of India, India's largest bank and one of the world's largest financial institutions.
Also, he has received the reputable Architect of Indian Industry Award from the Poona Business School.
Mr. Iyengar has more than 30 years of experience in the field of IT, including in the U.S., where he has held senior technical and managerial positions at major U.S. corporations, including Gartner. Prior to setting up Gartner operations in India, his previous positions in the U.S. include director of Applications Development (AD) within Gartner's internal IT department, in Stamford, Connecticut. Prior to joining Gartner, he had a very successful stint as CEO and principal consultant of his own consulting organisation, TOKINO Technologies in the U.S.

He is a post graduate in Human Resource Management from Pune University and has a PhD in Management from Academy of HRD. Spanning his corporate career of over 10 years, he has worked with IT consulting organisations like Mahindra Consulting, Patni, KPIT Cummins Infosystems Ltd and Brainvisa Technologies, Pune. Also, he was an Advisor – Training and HR with Decos Software Development, Pune for more than four years. His PhD thesis explored how IT professionals in India experience their career and used a unique approach of Phenomenology to uncover this theme.
