A business school operates to cater to the needs of business and industry. It is therefore critical to align the operations of the former to the requirements of the latter. To enable this alignment an association or relationship has to be established between the two. This initiative is an effort to bring KIAMS closer to industry and in the process understand their requirements as well as groom our students in keeping with industry needs.
Ms. Gauri A. Kirloskar is a B.Sc. graduate in Business Administration with a specialisation in Finance from the Carnegie Mellon University, United States of America. Before joining Kirloskar Integrated Technologies Private Limited she has worked with Merrill Lynch – Investment Banking Division, Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory from June 2006 to October 2008 and thereafter with Pearson Inc. – Corporate Finance and Strategy Division from October 2008 to June 2010. She has been appointed on the Board of Kirloskar Integrated Technologies Private Limited from 1st April, 2011 as a Director.
With over 28 years of work experience, Dr. V.S. Pai is experienced in Management teaching in the areas of Business Strategy, Corporate Strategy, International Business, Organisation Structure and Design and Management Control Systems. He has been actively involved in designing, developing and delivering executive education programs for many organisations. He has conducted research in the field of Strategic Management and his 80 publications and business cases have been uploaded to The Case Centre (ECCH), Cranfield University, UK and have won prizes in international case competitions held in Canada.
Dr. Bidyanand Jha, the Associate Dean – Academics at KIAMS, Pune is a blend of industrial and academic expertise in Marketing and Sales. He has worked with several organisations of repute. He enjoys training 'Marketing Minds' and is passionate about teaching, research, and consultancy. He is a rank holder in his MBA, scored 2nd position in the University exam and was fortunate to receive his convocation degree and reward by the then president, Dr. Abdul Kalam. He has been teaching various marketing subjects and the cumulative experience is nearly a decade now. Since 2011, he is associated with KIAMS. During this tenure, he has contributed valuable inputs in the development of PGDM Marketing stream, subjects and research. He is currently leading a new project as a new course introduction of KIAMS in the field of Customer Insight and Analytics.
