Prof. Gita Madhuri is a faculty in finance. She holds Masters in Management from Andhra University, Vishakhapatnam. She is UGC NET qualified faculty. She has begun her journey in management teaching in Finance, since 10 years in a different institution in India. Prior to joining KIAMS, she worked with NIST, Berhampur, Odisha and GM Institute of Technology, Davangere, Karnataka.
Teaching is a passion for her and she is a research scholar at Symbiosis International University. She worked in National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST), Berhampur, Odisha. She received consecutive Best Faculty awards at NIST. She teaches corporate finance, security analysis and portfolio management, financial derivatives, managerial economics, working capital management, and financial services.
Her research interests are in the area of derivatives, capital markets, asset pricing and financial time series analysis. She has conducted MDP in ‘Finance for Non-Finance Managers’ for Middle-level managers of Kirloskar Group and Entrepreneurs of SSI, MSME’s etc.
During the association with KIAMS, she has published two papers in International Journal of Business and Management, April 2016 in the field of Derivatives a Double-Edged sword, and she published a Case Study in the Case Centre. Patanjali: Capturing the Market. She is associated with KIAMS since June 2014 as Assistant Professor.
