Dr. Bidyanand Jha, the Dean (Academics) at KIAMS, Pune is a blend of industrial and academic expertise in Marketing and Sales. He has worked with several organizations of repute. He enjoys training ‘Marketing Minds’ and is passionate about teaching, research and consultancy. He is a rank holder in his MBA, scored 2nd position in the University exam and was fortunate to receive his convocation degree and reward by the then president, Dr. Abdul Kalam. After a considerable time in the industry, he decided to move in teaching, research and consultancy. The cumulative experience is nearly a decade now.
He has been teaching various marketing subjects such as Sales and Distribution, Consumer Behaviour, Retail Management, Marketing Management, Services Marketing and Strategic Marketing Management.
His research area spreads across Marketing Subjects such as Consumer Behaviour, Strategic Marketing Modelling, Online Retailing, and Sales. He has various international publication amounting to 15 in journals of repute with high impact factor.
He has been presenting his papers in various international conferences of repute organized outside India. He has been an award winner for the best paper in the conference organized by University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2012.
He has been involved in various kind consultancy and training program with organizations of repute in the field of Marketing, and some others in the digital & social media ecosystem.
He has done various programs for all level of managers in various organizations ranging from SME to large-scale entity. Some of his premier programs are ‘Increasing Marketing effectiveness’, ‘Strategic Product Management’, ‘Social Media Analytics’, ‘Salesforce effectiveness’, ‘E-Commerce marketing Strategy’ and ‘EFQM Excellence framework’.
He has been a certified assessor of EFQM Excellence model by CII and EXIM Bank and has been involved in various assessment processes of the company. He has been an active member for Competency Mapping Assessment centre for Kirloskar Group employees. The purpose of this assessment centre is to identify the Fast Trackers.
He is a life member of various professional bodies such as “Higher Education Forum”, “American Marketing Association” and “National RTI Forum”
Since 2011, he is associated with KIAMS. During this tenure, he has contributed valuable inputs in the development of PGDM Marketing stream, subjects and research. He is currently leading a new project as a new course introduction of KIAMS in the field of Customer Insight and Analytics.
