Dr. V. S. Pai
Director - KIAMS, Harihar
With over 32 years of experience, Dr. Pai holds expertise in various areas of management teaching like Corporate Strategy, Business Strategy, and International Business.
Besides KIAMS, he has worked with T. A. Pai Management Institute - Manipal, ICFAI Business School - Hyderabad, and the Royal Government of Bhutan.
His publications, which number around 80, have been published in reputed journals in the US, Canada, UK, Singapore, and other countries. Dr. Pai has also been actively involved in delivering executive education programmes for many organizations. Also, he has held academic and administrative positions such as Associate Dean and Dean, before taking over the Directorship of KIAMS, Harihar.
Dr. Pai has visited various countries including Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia to present his research papers and for academic tie-ups.
Dr. Pai has a Ph.D in Bank Management from the Guwahati University, Assam (1987) and Masters in Business Studies from Sri Sathya Sai University, Andhra Pradesh (1984).
Dr. Amit K. Sinha
Director - KIAMS, Pune
Dr. Amit K. Sinha is an MBA from Utkal University and a Ph.D. in Marketing from FMS, University of Delhi. His Doctoral thesis was well received and acclaimed for providing a new model in the area of family purchase decision making. It simplified the complicated Engel-Blackwell-Kollat Model and Howarth-Sheth Model. He is a university rank holder at graduation and post-graduation .
He has been invited to participate as a speaker by institutions like NITIE, AIMA, INFOMS, RMAI, FMS, IIML, MDI. He has an experience of over three decades in academics and corporates. Before joining the KIAMS Pune campus, he has worked in various reputed B-Schools like ICFAI, NMIMS-Mumbai, ISB&M-Pune (as Director ) and MIT School of Business, Pune (at the Associate Director Position) and MIT World Peace University (as Director - Admission ). He was adjudged as the Best Faculty in the area of market research and acclaimed for his marketing faculty team , by winning the Best Department Award of NMIMS. He was given the Best Leadership Award by WCRC Leaders Excellence Award, Delhi and was recognised for his contribution in management excellence by Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune.
He is inclined towards research and consultancy, and has many publications in national and international Journals. His research papers are cited in journals published by the American Marketing Association. His paper “Recession-Time to Innovate” published by the Nielsen Media Research Group Publication, USA was acclaimed by corporates all over the world.
Prof. Somashekhar Krishnamani

Mr. Somashekhar Krishnamani is the Director of S. L. Kirloskar Center for Executive Education in Pune. He is a Learning and Development professional, academician and research scholar who has 28 years of work experience. A decade and half of his experience has been devoted to consulting and providing Leadership Development solutions. His clients include some of the top multinational companies and Indian companies across telecom, manufacturing, technology, e-commerce, and food businesses.
In his earlier assignment with Indian School of Business, he was the Key Account Manager for international relationship with Global Schools like Kellogg School of Management (USA), NUS (Singapore), Macquarie University (Australia), Strathmore University (Kenya) and Coursera. His expertise includes designing programmes for independent and whole-time members of the Board and C-suite level leaders on corporate governance, triple bottom line, and compliance.
Somashekhar has an MBA and M. Phil in Management and has authored two business cases and three articles in Scopus rated Journals. He is also currently completing his doctorate.
