A Computer Science graduate, Rajiv’s ambition was to be a great manager. He did not want to continue in the field of software. He wanted to grow in the management stream and consequently appeared for C-MAT and applied to two colleges. He got through both, but chose KIAMS based on its reputation and ranking. Rajiv was looking for one of the best MBA institutes in the country and high quality of education, and decided that KIAMS was a good fit. He is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and belongs to the 15th batch of the programme.
Placement is not as important to him as the quality of education and he is sure the institute will not only fulfill his quality expectations, but will also create the kind of professional who will be absorbed by the industry on priority. As he says, “Two years from now, I see myself getting placed with a good company”.
Rajiv has spent a few months at KIAMS now and is enjoying every moment. Most of all, he is impressed with the diversity at the college as he comments, “The one thing that I absolutely adore about KIAMS is the diversity – right from professors to students- and the fact that we all are a part of one big family”.
