You could call him a perfectionist who aspires to be the best in whatever he does. Importantly, he is willing to put in any amount of hard work to make things happen. Pulkit Agarwal is just not satisfied to be mediocre, and this is precisely why he has joined KIAMS and is doing a PGDM. Pulkit hails from Raipur in Chhattisgarh. “After completing BE (Mechanical) from Raipur, I joined a firm, but soon realised that I desperately needed to improve in some areas to reach the top. So, I decided to study management and hone my skills,” says Pulkit.
The decision to pursue studies further was made swiftly, but it was rather tough to zero in on the right institution as this decision was going to change the future course of his life. After a lot of research, he embraced KIAMS. “I was looking for an institution that not only builds a strong academic foundation, but also lays stress on the all-round development of students through extra-curricular activities and industry exposure. Going by the record of KIAMS, it just beats other competitors hands down,” says Pulkit.
In the beginning at KIAMS, it was a little tough for Pulkit to cope with the hectic schedules and meet deadlines. “There is so much happening here in the field of academics and extracurricular activities that you sometimes find yourself gasping for breath. But now I seem to have developed the stamina and I am really enjoying it,” says Pulkit with a smile on his lips.
Apart from studies, he takes immense interest in all the activities taking place at the institute. “I am exposed to a totally new world here and my confidence is soaring day by day. This is going to help me immensely when I decide to venture into the corporate world,” says Pulkit.
He feels that KIAMS is really focused on imparting quality education to students and the whole curriculum is designed to make students industry-ready from day one. He is all praise for the experienced faculty, who are always ready to address the specific problems and queries of individual students. He is extremely thankful to his seniors for being a big support, especially in the initial days when he was trying to adjust to the new environment.
It is just the beginning of a long journey for Pulkit. He knows that he will be a new man when he passes out from here, but at the moment, he is simply soaking in all that KIAMS has to teach him.
