It has been a fascinating rollercoaster ride with KIAMS for me right from day one. I remember it being a rainy day when I stepped foot on the Harihar campus for the first time. The weather was so lovely and there was greenery all around. It just took my breath away and gave me an idea of what is in store for me here. I still look around as I walk on campus and admire its beauty.
Yes, our schedule is hectic but that was expected. Yet, we manage to make time to explore the surrounding areas and take in the sights. The good thing is that our friends live close by and we can knock on their doors whenever we want and hang out. We have already managed to build that camaraderie in a short span of time.
There have been a few birthday celebrations already and I have experienced the traditions around it. They have led to fun filled moments, which lighten things up when the going gets tough. I also love the fact that the campus has several indoor and outdoor facilities that we can take advantage of when we want to release stress and unwind.
In fact, all around the campus, from the sporting field to the hostel and the library, the facilities are top notch. While the hostel is a safe and comfortable environment for us, the library is where we get access to some of the best study material we can get our hands on. I somehow feel very inspired when I spend more time in the library.
I am also happy about different student clubs that give us immense exposure and transform us into well-rounded personalities. These clubs have been created to build our social, cultural and communication skills, which are important for all managers. We are encouraged to be a part of more than one group and they are all an immense learning experience.
But at the end of the day, we are here to study and be groomed into successful managers of tomorrow. KIAMS does that every step of the way, from the classroom to experiential learning. Our faculty members are awe inspiring because they are so experienced and well-versed in their subjects. They are also friendly and accessible, which is a huge benefit for us students.
